Synopsis: The silent film by director Polen Ly tells the journey to save the dear dog Iva of the poor girl named Ari. She considers Iva a friend. However, due to debt, her family resigns themself to selling Iva to a man. Unable to cope with the thought of her friend being killed for food, Ary hastily runs to that man. Ary doesn’t expect that, at the same time, there is another girl watching the poor dog’s fate. With a dramatic and touching story as well as wonderful performances from the child actors, Iva sends a deep message about love, friendship and sacrifice.
